| GOVERNOR ANNOUNCE MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL |

GRAND TURK, Turks and Caicos Islands; Tuesday, August 18th, 2009 – “Following my statement of 14 August 2009, I am glad to announce the following nominated Members of the Advisory Council all of whom are Belongers.

Ms Edith Cox
Mr Theo Durham
Mr Carlton Mills
Mr Eugene Otuonye
Mrs Doreen Quelch-Missick
Mr John Smith
In addition, the Council will consist of the following Ex-officio Members: Governor, Deputy Governor, Chief Executive, Attorney General and Permanent Secretary/Finance.
Members of the Advisory Council will be sworn in today, August 18, 2009 at Government House, Waterloo, Grand Turk.”
