| MULTI-LANGUAGE FOOD HANDLERS TRAINING SESSIONS |
The continued exposure of food handlers to food hygiene training is a critical and positive exercise. Training activities strive to ensure those within food service settings are knowledgeable and act in accordance with established standards.
In recognition of the significant impact of food hygiene training on food handling operations, the Environmental Health Department-Grand Turk will be hosting a three day multi-language food handler training event.
The training will take place at the Environmental Health Department’s conference room on Dunscombe Alley from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and the scheduled is as follows:
Tuesday, August 25, 2009-English
Thursday, August 27, 2009-Spanish
Thursday, August 27, 2009 Creole
Food service operators are asked to utilize this opportunity to raise the level of awareness of staff about food hygiene principles and facilitate their attendance.
