| PREMIER MEETS WITH UK REPRESENTATIVE AT THE UNITED NATIONS SEMINAR |
FRIGATE BAY, St Kitts and Nevis; Wednesday, May 13th, 2009 - Premier the Honorable Galmo Williams today met with the Administering Power of the United Kingdom Representative Simon Hoskings at the United Nations Caribbean Regional Seminar.
Premier Williams made Mr. Hoskings aware of the progress to date the Williams administration has been making. Mr. Hoskings was also presented with a compilation of documents comprising of the Turks and Caicos Islands Government achievements thus far in addressing the recommendations of the Interim Report.
When asked about the meeting, Premier Williams said: “I stressed my Governments Commitment to work as partners for progress with Her Majesty’s Government to be able to address these concerns in partnership for the empowerment of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands. “
