| GOVERNOR WETHERELL STATEMENT ON THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY FINAL REPORT |
GRAND TURK, Turks and Caicos Islands; Monday, June 1st, 2009 – “Sir Robin Auld submitted the Final Report of his Commission of Inquiry to me yesterday (Sunday, 31 May). I am now considering it in consultation with officials at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and UK Ministers. We will do this as expeditiously as possible and I expect to be able to make an announcement concerning entry into force of the Order in Council and publication of the Final Report in about 3 weeks."
