PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Thursday, December 10th, 2008 - ColinaImperial Ltd made a donation of Five Thousand ($5,000) to the Turks & Caicos Islands Red Cross to assist with post hurricane relief efforts in the aftermath of hurricanes Hanna and Ike.

"We are very grateful and appreciative to companies like ColinaImperial that support the Red Cross' effort to raise funds, especially during times of need," said Cynthia Astwood, President of the Turks & Caicos Islands Red Cross.  "This donation will go a long way in aiding those most in need in the islands hit hard by the hurricane." 

Managing Director of NW Hamilton Insurance, Norman Hamilton representing ColinaImperial, said: "The company felt moved to make the contribution to the Turks and Caicos Islands Red Cross, whose well tested emergency response system is the fulcrum of disaster recovery efforts in the islands.  The Red Cross delivered disaster preparedness supplies to residents before both hurricanes hit and kept up emergency fundraising efforts even after their own offices had been damaged by Hurricane Ike." 

"ColinaImperial wanted a meaningful way to show support for and to assist residents affected by the storms so they can get their lives back to normal and felt that the best way to do so was through the Red Cross organization," Hamilton said.
