| NATIONAL AIDS PROGRAMME TO HOLD ANNUAL HIV/AIDS INTER-HIGH SCHOOL DEBATE |
PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 - The National AIDS Programme will be holding their 11TH Annual HIV/AIDS Inter-High School Debate tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19, at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sporting Center, Downtown, Providenciales.
The event, commencing at 9am, is a part of the World AIDS Day activities, which will be observed on Monday December 1st, under the theme: Take the Lead! Stop AIDS! Keep the Promise! Empower and Deliver!
The moot that is to be deliberated: Be it resolved that the church has a responsibility to empower society and to deliver more tangible support to education.
There will be three opposing teams, which include:
- Wesley Methodist
- New Age Academy
- Whole Gospel High
These teams will come up against proposing teams that include:
- Raymond Gardiner High
- Maranatha High
- Clement Howell High
The National Aids Programme would like members of the public to turn out and support this event, and learn more about HIV/Aids.
