Speaking in advance of the National Employment Drive, Ivan Browne said: "We commend the efforts of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Public Safety and Aviation in coordinating this initiative. Having now filled three positions without work permits, including Vice President IT and Vice President Human Resources, we know that there are excellent candidates here, and we know there is competition between Belongers. We want to contribute in any way we can to further raising the standards of applicants and improving their chances of success not just with us, but with all employers in the Turks and Caicos. "

He went on to add that: "As a service-oriented company, our team is the key to our success. We are therefore committed to identifying, recruiting, training and retaining talented Belongers wherever possible."

Hon. Galmo Williams, Minister of Home Affairs, Public Safety and Aviation added: "I would like to thank all those who have taken part in helping to organise the National Employment Drive not just staff from my department, but also staff from other Government departments, committee members and those companies who have volunteered their time, such as International Banking Group, Norwani Services and the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association."

Moreover: "The National Employment Drive aims to arm Turks and Caicos Islanders with the tools they need to get ahead in their careers, whether they are currently unemployed, students, graduates returning from abroad or simply persons considering a career move. I am very excited about this event and trust that it will achieve this aim and be a great success."
